Missing the High Holy Holidays

In the words of Bill Fawcett, a local author and game designer, "[Ed Kramer] has endured under an injustice and prejudice long after a lesser man would have given up. Instead of anger for persecution Ed found faith."

Faith is very important to Ed. Over the last seven years Ed has turned to G-d to find sanity in his world...

Bungling Burglers of SFWA

Following in the footsteps of the RIAA, the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writer's Association (SFWA) has been sending out DMCA takedown notices. The SFWA has chosen to ignore the fact that they do not represent the writers involved, they have chosen to ignore the DMCA law, and they have chosen to ignore the fact that copyright infringement is not occurring.

Will the D.A. respond?

Today, Monday, is the deadline for the District Attorney to file a response to Ed Kramer's motion to dismiss his case in Appeals Court. It would not be unusual for an attorney to file just before the deadline ends. If the D.A. does not respond to the court then Ed will have to file a new motion to...
